Arthritis

There are over 100 types of arthritis effecting people of all ages, sex, and race and refers to joint pain or joint disease. Common joint symptoms which vary in severity and can get worse over time include swelling, pain, stiffness, and decreased movement.   Osteoarthritis is the most common type of arthritis and causes progressive deterioration of cartilage.  According to some experts, 8/10 Americans over the age of 55 suffer from one form of arthritis or another. The body reacts by forming extra bone called bone spurs that affect the joint and joint spaces.
